Cuneo Gilbert Flannery & LaDuca is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney with 3 to 5 years of substantive litigation experience to join our St. Louis, Missouri office. This position focuses on complex antitrust and consumer litigation, including high-stakes class actions and coordinated multi-party matters.
This is not an entry-level role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing meaningful aspects of cases and will be ready to take ownership of litigation responsibilities while working closely with senior attorneys.
Key Responsibilities
- Take and defend depositions of fact and expert witnesses
- Draft and argue substantive motions, including motions to dismiss, class certification briefs, and summary judgment motions
- Manage written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
- Coordinate with co-counsel, experts, and opposing counsel
- Assist with case strategy, fact development, and trial preparation
- Manage a docket of active complex litigation matters with appropriate senior oversight
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- 3–5 years of litigation experience (experience in antitrust, consumer litigation, product liability, or class action litigation strongly preferred)
- Active admission to any U.S. State Bar
- Demonstrated experience handling substantive litigation responsibilities
