We are nationally recognized for our representation of plaintiffs in civil and international human rights class actions. We are engaged in a series of class actions challenging the unconstitutional practice of strip searching individuals arrested for minor crimes. We have successfully stopped this practice in twelve jurisdictions, achieving over $29 million in settlement funds.
In an historic case, we successfully secured compensation for stolen private assets of thousands of Holocaust victims in the much-publicized "Gold Train" episode in the final days of World War II. In recognition of our "Gold Train" success, the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice selected three of our lawyers as finalists for its 2006 Trial Lawyer of the Year award.
