DANIEL M. COHEN has been working with the firm and its predecessor firms (including the Cuneo Law Group, PC) since 1999. Mr. Cohen concentrates his practice on class actions and complex litigation involving antitrust and consumer protection issues. Mr. Cohen successfully represented hundreds of the firm's class action plaintiffs who chose to participate in the alternative dispute resolution process when resolving their rights in an insurance matter. He is also certified as a Circuit Court Mediator in the State of Florida.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cohen was an Assistant Public Defender for the Florida's Fourth Judicial Circuit, serving Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. During Mr. Cohen's tenure, he represented thousands of juveniles and adults charged with crimes ranging from misdemeanors to capital felonies. He tried over seventy jury trials, supervised attorneys, and managed case assignments in juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony court.
