PREETPAL GREWAL is based in our New York office. She has over sixteen years of experience successfully representing clients in complex civil, criminal, labor and employment, corporate governance and bankruptcy matters. Ms. Grewal was involved in the investigation of one of the largest sub-prime mortgage companies and is currently working on various antitrust class action suits filed against several multinational companies. She is also the principal in expanding the firm's international business practice. She is particularly focused on India and over the last couple of years has been helping develop Cuneo Gilbert & LaDuca's practice in India. Ms. Grewal is admitted to practice law in India and the United States.

Before practicing the United States, Ms. Grewal led a very successful private practice in India representing clients in the High Court of the State of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, India. She was the sole counsel for the judiciary of the State of Himachal Pradesh. In that capacity, she was responsible for defending all the actions taken by the Himachal Pradesh High Court, the Chief Justice, the subordinate courts, all judicial officers, and ministerial staff. She was also the Chief Counsel for the Oriental Insurance Company, one of the largest insurance companies in India.

Ms. Grewal was widely recognized as an outstanding young lawyer in India and was nominated to several prestigious committees. She was chosen to chair the Himachal Pradesh High Court Committee for Ex-Servicemen and also headed the Himachal Pradesh High Court Committee for Women and Children, which was formed and chaired by the then Chief Justice Mr. M.N. Rao. She also served as the Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh High Court Bar Association.
