Attorneys: This is a indirect purchaser monopolization case against the United States Tobacco Company ("UST"), the largest maker of smokeless tobacco in the U.S. The complaint alleges that UST engaged in exclusionary practices, suppressed competitors, raised prices, and stifled innovation. We have filed several cases in state courts around the country. On behalf of purchasers, we have negotiated a nationwide settlement on behalf of consumers with U.S. Tobacco Company.
